Deepika Padukone,  born on 5 January 1986. A well known Indian actress and model. She took birth in  Copenhagen city of Denmark. Mr. Prakash Padukone was a famous international badminton player and mother Mrs. Ujjala is a travel agent whereas her younger sister Anisha is an golfer. She has completed her schooling from Sophia High School and Mount Carmel College. After completing them, she enrolled herself in B.A. in Sociology from IGNOU but had to drop it later on.

She started her modeling career with Lakme Fashion Week 2005 by designer Suneet Varma and won the Model of the Year award in Kingfisher Fashion Awards. She was also the part of Kingfisher Calender in year 2006. Her first television commercial was for Liril soap.
